ACTIVITIES COMPLEX
There will be a public hearing as provided under Section 26.12 of the Code of Iowa. It will be conducted by the School Board of the Mt. Vernon Community School District for the purpose of hearing or receiving any objections to the adoption of the proposed plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimated total cost for furnishing of all necessary labor, material and equipment for:

The project will consist of a new artificial turf competition field, competition track, field event areas, bleacher seating, press box, ticket office building, concessions building, restroom building, and all associated sitework, grading, and paving per plans and specifications.
The proposed plans, specifications, form of contract and estimated costs are available at the Mt. Vernon Community School District Office located at 525 Palisades Rd. SW, Mt. Vernon, Iowa, 52314, where they may be seen and examined by any interested persons. At the hearing or at any time prior thereto, any interested person may appear and file objections to the proposed plans, specifications, form of contract for, or costs of, this Public Improvement and may present any evidence at the hearing for or against same.
