Mount Vernon Fine Arts Association

The Mount Vernon Fine Arts Association (MVFAA) provides financial support and volunteer resources for the district’s music, visual arts, and performing arts programs, curricular support for preschool through 12th grade, co-curricular and extracurricular activities, including general art, music, choir, band, speech, and theater programming at our elementary, middle, and high schools.

DID YOU KNOW? Fine Arts classes are so popular students are frequently enrolled in more than one at a time.  The numbers say it all:   MOUNT VERNON STUDENTS LOVE THE ARTS!

Mount Vernon’s Fine Arts programs are not only popular, they are excellent, and our competitive ratings show it.  Our band, chorus, and orchestra programs consistently earn #1 ratings; it is truly extraordinary that a district of our size has music programs that earn such honors.  Our talented art students are producing beautiful and varied works which have received recognition at local, state, and national levels.  We all get the privilege of enjoying diverse performances offered throughout the year by our speech and theater groups.

If you have questions about how to participate, please contact President Mike Owen at mvfaa@mvcsd.org.
