The numbers say it all: MOUNT VERNON STUDENTS LOVE THE ARTS!

Mount Vernon’s Fine Arts programs are not only popular, they are excellent, and our competitive ratings show it.  Our band, chorus, and orchestra programs consistently earn #1 ratings; it is truly extraordinary that a district of our size has music programs that earn such honors.  Our talented art students are producing beautiful and varied works which have received recognition at local, state, and national levels.  We all get the privilege of enjoying diverse performances offered throughout the year by our speech and theatre groups.
