Mustangs, are you ready to put in the work to make yourself and your team better?! This summer you will have an opportunity to become a stronger and more explosive athlete! Your hard work in the summer will undoubtedly pay off in your upcoming sport seasons.
UNDER PRESSURE, YOU DON’T RISE TO THE OCCASION, YOU SINK TO THE LEVEL OF YOUR TRAINING.
We will systematically work on technique, speed, quickness, explosive power, and strength. These qualities will only be enhanced if you commit to the process. You will only get out what you put in.

Memorial Day Softball Camp
The Mount Vernon softball program is hosting a Memorial Day Softball Camp for students in grades 3 – 7. The goal of the camp is to have each camper leave with a better understanding of fundamentals, improved individual skills, greater softball knowledge, and a positive team experience. Registration is due by May 16, 2025.
3rd – 8th Grade Boys Basketball Camps
Boys in grades 3rd – 8th are invited to attend a basketball camp from June 2 – June 5, 2025. Sign-up and payment information is below.
Wrestling Open Mat Session
Starting on Friday, June 6 through Friday, July 18 the high school wrestling room will be open for 5th – 12th grade girls and boys. Dates and times are listed below in the drop-down menu.

4th, 5th, & 6th Grade Volleyball Camp
From June 10 – 12, join current MVCSD volleyball staff and current and former players to learn the skills, IQ, and mindset of Mount Vernon volleyball in developmentally appropriate training sessions. This camp is for students going into grades 4, 5, and 6 in the fall of 2025. Registration is due by May 27, 2025, to guarantee a camp tee shirt.
Jack Cochrane Youth Football Camp
Students in grades 2 – 6 are encouraged to attend the FREE Jack Cochrane Youth Football Camp on June 14, 2025. See full details below. Registration is due June 1, 2025.
7th & 8th Grade Volleyball Camp
On August 16 – 18 students going into seventh and eighth grades will have an opportunity to work with current MVCSD volleyball staff and current players to improve their skills and volleyball IQ at a developmentally appropriate training camp. Registration is due by August 4, 2025, to guarantee a camp tee shirt.
