To Whom It May Concern:
You are hereby notified that at 6:30 PM, Central Time on June 8, 2026, at the Mount Vernon High School, 731 Palisades Road SW, there will be a public hearing on the proposed plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimated cost of the project. Any persons interested may appear and file objections to the proposed plans, specifications, form of contract, or cost of such improvement.
The following is a description of the Public Improvement Reconstruction of an existing asphalt parking lot for the Mount Vernon Community School District with new PCC pavement. The parking lot is located between the Mount Vernon Middle School and Washington Elementary School on the Mount Vernon School Campus and includes replacement of the parking lot access road and parking lot for the schools. Work includes site grading, pavement removal, PCC pavement for parking lot and access drive, PCC sidewalk, ADA curb ramps, street signage, pavement markings, seeding and erosion control, new conduit, and parking lot lighting.
The location of the project is as follows:
Parking lot located between the Elementary and Middle Schools on the Mount Vernon Community School Campus
