The Mount Vernon Community School District School Board has three (3) open seats to be filled at the upcoming election on Tuesday, November 4th. 

The following candidates will appear on the ballot:

  • Rick Elliott

  • Tim Keegan

The third spot is anticipated to be filled via write-in. The district is seeking an eligible individual to fill this position. Eligible candidates must be a US citizen, a district resident, at least 18 years of age, and eligible to register to vote. The winner of this seat will be the person who receives the most write-in votes. In the case of a tie, the winner will be randomly selected by Linn County.
