2021 Commencement Information
The ceremony will take place in the Mount Vernon High School Gymnasium on May 23rd at 2:00 p.m. Each family of a graduate will be provided with six (6) tickets for the ceremony. Families are free to distribute those tickets however they choose, but no additional tickets will be available.
The ceremony will be live-streamed for family members and friends who are unable to attend.
Masks will be required of all attendees, and social distancing guidelines will be in place as much as possible.
Commencement Parade
A parade will take place immediately following graduation so those unable to attend the ceremony can honor the Class of 2021. To allow time for commencement attendees to view the parade, those attending the ceremony will be given time to exit. Graduates will proceed immediately to their vehicles to prepare for the parade. No gathering of families and friends will take place after commencement at MVHS. Directions regarding the parade will be provided as we get closer to the event.
